The awards program annually honors companies and individuals from North Carolina's information technology industry for excellence in leadership and innovation. Arsenal Digital SolutionsT has been selected as a winner of the 2005 Communications News Editors' Choice Award in the "Storage/Business Continuity" category. The company received this honor for its article "How to identify storage solutions". Arsenal's rapid server recovery service, ViaRecovery, has been selected as one of 20 Honorable Mentions in IDG's Computerworld Horizon Awards. The Horizon Awards were established to honor exciting new technologies such as Via Recovery's ability to complete a secure bare metal recovery of business-critical server operating systems, applications, and data up to 80 percent faster than traditional methods. "This year's Horizon Award winners exemplify the most notable technologies that will potentially impact both consumers and enterprises in the coming years," said Don Tennant, editor in chief of Computerworld.
